NSW Blues coach Craig Bellamy is set to walk away from his role as NSW Coach regardless of the result in tonight’s State of Origin decider according to a Sydney newpaper.

According to the Daily Telegraph it’s understood that Bellamy “dislikes coaching against his Storm-based Queensland players.”

Bellamy is also said to prefer the environment at Melbourne.

A win to the Blues tonight would hand them a 2-1 series win and their first series victory in three-years.

Unlikely replacements for Bellamy should he quit the post include Melbourne mascot Storm man, Reg Reagan or the Dog that almost ran out onto Sutherland Oval during a clash between Erina and Southern Sydney in round 14 of the Jim Beam Cup.
