The Aboriginal Team of the Century has been announced and some notable players didn't make it.
Rugby League’s Aboriginal team of the Century was announced at Suncorp Stadium prior to the Cowboys 36-12 win over the Bulldogs last night.

Rugby League’s Aboriginal team of the Century was announced at Suncorp Stadium prior to the Cowboys 36-12 win over the Bulldogs last night.

Players who didn’t make the cut included Steve Ella, Justin Hodges, Larry Corowa, Matt Bowen, Ricky Walford, Scott Prince, Dean Widders, Preston Campbell and Queensland favourite Vern Daisey.

Anthony  Mundine was left out not that many in Rugby League were too disappointed at that decision. 

The Aboriginal Team of the Century is:

Eric Simms; Lionel Morgan; Steve Renouf; Greg Inglis; Dale Shearer; Laurie Daley; Johnathan Thurston; Cliff Lyons; Sam Thaiday; Gordon Tallis; Arthur Beetson; Mal Cochrane; Sam Backo. Reserves: George Green; Wally McArthur; Frank Fisher; John Ferguson.
