Press Release

The Scotland Bravehearts wasted little time in getting back into full training this week following two days rest in Sydney.

Coach Steve McCormack gave the players Tuesday and Wednesday off following their loss to France at Canberra Stadium last Sunday.

McCormack had his players do a tough run along the Coogee beach at 7am followed by a video review session of the France game.

It was then onto the team bus for a training session at OKI Jubilee Oval - one of the home grounds of NRL team, St George-Illawarra Oval.

The ground, better known to all in rugby league as Kogarah Oval, is the symbolic home of the famous St George Dragons.

"To train on a superb field like this and to be able to use the excellent facilities here is just a real buzz for the players,'' McCormack said.

Perhaps like some of the famous red and white stars of the past (Graeme Langlands), the Scots could don bright boots for good luck in their upcoming fixture with Fiji on Wednesday November 5 at Bluetongue Stadium in Gosford.
